Product Review: Great Product
Summary: 5 Stars

I love Ocusoft. It has really helped with my dry eyes during allergy season.

Product Review: Great Product...no more pain
Summary: 5 Stars

This product really helped the pain in my eyes which has recently started to get worse. These pads are individually wrapped, which keeps everything sanitary. I can even pack a few into my carry-on bag for long flights. It is not a one-time solution, you have to keep using them, but I find every five days is enough to keep the "grit" like pain away. I also use a warm compress before bed and that really seems to help before I use the pad. If you have that gritty eye pain (burning, etc), this could be a reasonable treatment. No harsh chemicals either....

Product Review: Great product but not completely moist!
Summary: 4 Stars

I use these wipes daily because I consistently suffer from styes and have a lot of eye gunk. They have helped in curing the problems, but my only problem with the product is that some parts of the wipes will be dry when I open the packet. If I accidentally use the dry spot on my eye it causes some discomfort.

Product Review: Love 'em -- WORKS GREAT!!!!!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't live without these pads. Started using them a year ago, desperate to find something to help prevent my chronic periodic styes. These really work. I use every day, morning and night. I cut each pad into 3 pieces and use one at a time -- only takes a second to snip it, and the box lasts 3 times as long. You don't need a full pad at a time. After applying, I rinse it off one lid and leave it on the other more troublesome lower lid. It doesn't burn, feels fine, more of a clean feeling than a burn. Look for the "Extra Strength" version in the light blue box -- it's WAYYYYYYY better and not all foamy like the regular type in the dark blue box. You should find the cost to be the same -- it is at my drug store. Verdict: LOVE 'EM. In the last year I've only had one stye, instead of my monthly battles!

UPDATE: 26 Nov 2010: OK, here's what I've learned about my chronic styes on my lower right eye lid. I think I've pretty much solved the problem and I don't even need to use these pads or anything else any more. After a marathon research session on the web, I found one entry where the person said styes are often caused by the BACTERIA from your nose. So if you touch anywhere near the inside of your nostrils, and then your eyelid -- trouble will follow. The same is true, to a somewhat lesser extent, if you ever touch your lid with your fingers during the day, unless you just washed them -- you know all about the germs on your hands. So in the last year I have forced myself to do 3 things as a habit:

1. NEVER touch my eyes after my nostrils. PERIOD. Don't blow your nose and then a few minutes later touch your eyelashes -- BAD! Always wash/Purell my hands after touching my nostrils, and even wash the area around my nostrils.

2. Avoid touching eyes throughout the day. Just don't do it. Sometimes I will catch myself just as my hand is moving to my eye. If hands were just washed/Purelled, then OK.

3. Every time I wash my hands after using the bathroom at the office, I use the wet paper towel to cleanse my problem eye. So it gets wiped and cleansed a few times per day.

I've been doing this for a year now and have had no styes. I don't even use the pads any more, unless I just want to give my lid a good cleansing, or if I feel like there could be trouble on the horizon, nip it in the bud. So if you've been tortured with chronic styes, don't just blame it on "bad genes" -- blame it also on "operator error" -- change your habits and you will prevail!

Product Review: OCuSOFT Eye Rash
Summary: 2 Stars

I have used this product for approximately 2 months now and feel it is time to write a review on them. I first started using OCuSOFT when I went to the optometrist and found out I had dry eyes. In order to keep my eye lids clean from dust/debris and so forth it was recommended that I start gently scrubbing my eyes. I would do so 2-3 days daily, once in the morning, once at night, and sometimes once midday.

It seemed to be working great but during the end of the 2 months, I started developing a rash over my right eye but paid little attention to it. A few days later, a small rash started developing under my left eye and this was when I came to the conclusion that the OCuSOFT Eyelid Cleanser could be the culprit. I was not scrubbing hard and used this product in moderation. It has been a week since I've ceased using this product and the rashes are seemingly gone. Hopefully, this doesn't happen to others out there but just be cautious.
