I ordered this item from HerbsPro Jan. 2011 (different label than in Amazon picture). The negative comment ("black spots in the oil") is from 2007 and does not state which merchant the oil was ordered from. I shone a very bright flash-light through the bottle. All that's visible is the slight and light cloudiness natural to cold-pressed citrus oils (a bit of matter from the skin.
This particular batch of oil I got in 01/11 is rather light and maybe a bit on the thin side, I dare say. I have had dark orange and very sweet orange oil before. Very much depends on the kind of orange and how much sun etc. the oranges got that year. Still, I like it. Also the dripper has the perfect opening so one can pour drop-by-drop, which to me is VERY important (it angers me when I order essential oil and on first usage 1/4 of the bottle pours out of it and all over the place..). All in all 4 stars.
