Dosage Nicorette 4mg Freshfruit Coated Gum is not an ordinary gum so you should not chew it constantly. To make sure you get the most from your Nicorette Gum, use the Nicorette chewing technique. Chew gum slowly until taste becomes strong (approx 1 minute). Rest gum between teeth and gum then chew gum again once taste has faded. Most people initially use 8 to 12 pieces of 4mg or 2mg Gum each day depending on when they feel the urge to smoke. You should use the gum for at least 12 weeks and then gradually reduce the number of pieces you chew. Use no more than 24 pieces of gum a day. Package insert contains detailed directions for use.
