I don't have a lot time to write detailed reviews. But i want to take a min to tell everyone that this really works. How do i know ? I have this installed in one bath and not in the other. World of difference !!!!

Product Review: affordable solution to chlorine in the shower

Chlorine and other chemicals can wreak havoc on skin and hair, not to mention the harmful effects it can have on the respiratory system. You know the rule, if you don't want to eat it, don't put it on your skin. If you drink filtered water, you might want to consider putting a filter on your shower as well.
Ultimately I would like a full house filter system, but those are expensive. But for now I have a good drinking water filter in the kitchen and this New Wave Enviro shower filter as an immediate solution for the shower.
My skin used to be dry after leaving the shower and I'd need to apply a lot of lotion. Not anymore! I'm certain it's the filter. I don't have any sort of chlorine tester so I can't be scientific about it, but it feels better. The price is great, and they sell replacement filters for yearly change-out. It's easy to install, you just need a wrench and about five minutes.

I received my Enviro shower filter a few days ago. Interesting to see so many glowing reviews here about this product. I wonder how many have actually tested it.
I did. I used a Hach colorimeter to accomplish this.
I first tested my unfiltered sink water and got 1.02 mg/l of total chlorine. Then I tested my 3-stage undersink filter water and got .01 mg/l of total chlorine. I finally tested the shower water with the Enviro filter installed and got .55 mg/l on the colorimeter. The test was done on the third day of use of the filter, and the sample was taken at room temperature after letting the shower run for a few minutes.
This filter does appear to remove about half the chlorine (1.02 to .55 mg/l in my test), but I still have it's package which clearly states "..a year of natural CHLORINE-FREE shower water..." on the front.
That is clearly not correct!! I intend to contact them about this.
I've tested other shower filters and they all mislead..not one removes 100% of chlorine, and some none. For me, it seems the only solution would be a good whole house filter.
Needless to say, no, I am still not getting that 'april fresh, clear mountain spring' feeling stepping out of the shower.

This product was recommended to me by my local health food store. I wasn't sure it would make any difference but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it does. I am very sensitive to water and this product helps and as a bonus, my hair rinses cleaner and is easier to manage without using extra products...a definite plus for sensitive people.Product Review: impressed

USED IT ONCE AND SHOCKED AT THE DIFFERENCE AS I TYPICALLY USE IMMENCE AMOUNTS OF MOISTURIZERS AFTER SHOWERING BUT SKIPPED THEM TO SEE IF IT WORKED. . ALSO, MY HAIR IS SO SILKY
