I've only used 35% glycolic peel because I'm very fair and have sensitive skin so I don't know that this was a necessary purchase. I don't notice any redness or irritation after peels and neutralizer, but I suspect this is a result of such a mild peel. The last time I used a peel I just splashed with cold water and added a little Cetaphil facial lotion and was just fine. However, it came with a sample of lactic acid which is awesome, and I suspect I may update the effects of the neutralizer as I move up to higher concentrations of glycolic acid.
