After removing a very small cyst from my arm our dermatologist told me to put Neosporin on the spot until it was healed. I did so in the morning and at night. There was never any sign of reddening around the spot or infection.
Since this worked so well for me we've begun to use it on youngsters' scrapes. So far so good!
