I have been suffering from Chronic Sinusitis, Sinus heaches, Dry nose etc which become worse in winter, since years.
Yesterday I went to an ENT doctor who prescribed me this nasal irrigation system invented in India few thousand years ago. Initially I was very reluctant about the product that was being sold over the counter in all the leading pharmacies like CVS, Riteaid, Walgreens etc. I thought it was another ripoff scheme or a Sham.
When this was prescribed to me by a well known ENT doctor I thought that this method would hold some validity and tried it for first time yesterday. And the result was shocking...For the first time in a very long time I thought I could breathe normally. I have heard that you have to use this irrigation system regularly whether you have sinuses or not.
One note though you should not expect a miracle I am confident with just one time use that this product will help me definitely.

I have found the Sinus Rinse bottle and the packets to be extremely effective in clearing my sinuses and helping to minimize the effects of an impending cold. The process of irrigating your sinuses has the potential to be life altering. I know that sounds over the top, but it ranks up there with exercise as the healthiest thing you can do for yourself. I have been using the Neil-Med Sinus Rinse everyday Sept 2007 and It has really cut down on my Sinus Infections. In 2007, I had 4 sinus infections! Since I started using the rinse, in 2008, I only had ONE(big difference). If you think about it, we clean our ears, we brush our teeth, we clean just about everything EXCEPT our noses and our noses are one of the body parts that can get really nasty so it makes sense to me to rinse it out every now and then or even everyday! I like using the squeeze bottle that neil med provides rather than the neti pot which I always found awkward to use. The Solution packets are great because it is the perfect measurement. Most of my family also suffers from allergies and sinus problems and I have now turned on many of them to this great product! Neil Med Sinus rinse is the natural way to cut down on your sinus and allergy problems and is also a very inexpensive way! Amazon has the best deal on the two box combo for the solution packets, you wont find it cheaper elsewhere!Product Review: I love to douche my nose!

I really wish I had heard about this when my allergies went into overkill in late June. I was taking up to 3 meds a day and was worried that might not be good, went to see my doc and changed the medications from OTC to Singuliar, Flonase and Zrytec. That worked for about 2 weeks and then I started to feel my asthma being triggered, which lead into bronchitis. Got that all in check, but my nose would not stop with the post nasal drip and it was making me congested.
WELL, I heard about this little goodie and started using it yesterday. I am already seeing INSTANT improvement! My hacking cough is gone, finally!! I can actually breathe through my nose, still a little stuffy, but I have heard after a few days use, it will get significantly better. I have not even had to touch my inhaler either. I totally recommend this!
It's is something to get used to, but so worth it!! (I read another review where she said her husband didn't snore, which my husband hasn't noticed yet. But that will definitely be nice for him and even better for me, being as I know I sleep better when I don't snore.)
