paid way too much for this at walgreens ($13.99- on sale!) but it has helped my nasal congestion, though not as much as i had hoped. the first thing was after reading some complaints about the ridge (i read reviews online here before buying) where the plastic halves were joined, i examined it and found it was pretty big so i took an emery board nail file and sanded down the ridge before using it. when i first used it, i had problems getting the water to flow thru (1 nostril especially). i deduced the problem i was having with the flow was due to several reasons- the hole in the pot cover was way too small, obstructing the air flow into the pot...after i enlarged this to about twice the original size with a small diameter long wood screw and used a razor blade to trim the plastic pushed up around the screw (do this while the screw is in), it flowed much better. it seems to me that making the spout of the pot longer and doubling the capacity would make the water flow better. When using the pot it is important to push it in as firmly as is comfortable and adjusting the angle to get the best flow. it helps to pull the spout while in your nostril outwards away from your face a bit. happy irrigating!Product Review: unbelievable

I bought this product from my local supermarket Kroger. I have suffered for years and years from allergies, and chronic sinus infections- usually 5 or 6 a year. Every time I fly I just expect to end up at the doctors for antibiotics. I started using the NeilMed NasaFlo about 2 weeks ago, along with Oreganol and Quercetin tablets, and have experienced an amazing difference. Even with two 4 hour flights during this time, I have suffered only a little congestion and discomfort, which eased after a short time with the help of these products. Worth every penny. I dont even mind the sensation in my nose, as I know its helping me. Definitely worth trying.
