Product Review: One of the best neti pots in the market

I have been suffering from spring allergies for past 5 years. I used sinucleanse neti pot last year for few days and it was alright. Unfortunately, I came to know about neti last year when the spring season was almost over. By that time I had already suffered a lot. This year, I decided to start neti (first using SinuCleanse neti pot) 2 weeks before the spring officially started. It worked wonders for me when the spring finally arrived. Its peak of the pollen season, and I do not seem to have any trouble with pollen whatsoever. This is the best (not to mention cheapest) solution to your spring allergies. I do not have allergies due to dust, etc. but I am certain it would help in that too. I had some trouble with Sinucleanse pot. One major problem was that its open from top, so when you want to dissolve saline packet contents, you have to cover it using your hand. And second problem I had with it was the gap I used to have when I would try it in my left nostril (probably, my 2 nostrils are slightly different in size). I wanted to give Neilmed a try so I went to my local walgreens store and purchased it. It does have a cap, so mixing contents was very easy. And the best part is that now, there is no gap when I use this on either nostril. So, I have 2 neti pots right now, but I don't think I am ever going back to sinucleanse.
I can't recommend this product enough for anyone who suffers from seasonal allergies. This thing will be a lifesaver for you. Trust me.

I have horrible sinuse pressure and headaches not to mention bad post nasal drip, nothing helped me not even antihistimnes. I decided to try a neti pot on reccomendation from a friend, boy am I glad I did. It is so easy just put warm water in the pot add the solution and rinse out your nose as simple as that. I now rarely have headaches and the pressure and post nasel drip is almost completly gone. The pot is easy to use and clean. I do have problems with leakage around the lid but to me that is not an issue. I definatly recommend this to anyone with sinus issues.Product Review: Poor quality defeats purpose

The idea behind this product is sound, and when you can get the blamed cap on securely it works, but that isn't often. The cap and the top of the pot are threaded, but getting the threads to engage is an exercise in futility. After enough fiddling, you can get the top on somewhat well, but by that time the water inside is no longer warm. Since flushing your sinuses with cold water is unpleasant, you will end up using the pot with more water escaping from the under the cap than from the spout.Product Review: Poor quality, very disappointed

I was out of town and forgot to bring my Netipot, so I bought one of
these pots at the drugstore. The oddly shaped nozzle didn't fit my nose properly, it's not ergonomically designed like the standard Netipot shape.
I was miserable. I had to go online and buy a Sinucleanse pot which took two days to arrive. By then, my allergies had taken over. I guess they are sold out in the stores because they fit all nostril sizes!! I would not suggest this pot due to the shape, and poor quality plastic. It's clearly not "medical grade", so it seems to be adding more impurites rather than removing them (stinky chemical smell). Their salt packets seemed to burn a little.
You can buy a large tub of premixed solution that is far more gentle on the sinus membranes. Glad to be home. Once you rely on the Neti, it's hard to travel without one!! Nothing against the Netipot in general, just this version. Hope this helps others in their choices.

I can breathe through my nose again! Once you get over the hurdle of pouring something into your nose, you adjust to being able to breathe better quickly.
