I (and my children) are big fans of NeilMed Sinus Rinse. When I saw the Ready Rinse, I thought I would try it so I would have an additional re-usable bottle. I read the directions again to make sure I didn't need to do anything different (other than heat to very warm - there is no dilution as the bottle is completely filled). As I started to use it, the solution tasted very bitter in the back of my throat and started my gag re-flex. I couldn't use anymore. I double-checked the use-by date which said 11/2012. As soon as I get my voice back, I will be calling the company.
The original Sinus Rinse has a gentle salt taste to it that is not unpleasant, and is very comforting on your throat. The system is easier to use than, but acts like, a neti pot, rinsing your nostrils and the back of your throat, easing symptoms and making it easy to relieve yourself of mucus. I highly recommend the original with the packets. Steer clear of the pre-made rinse!
