Product Review: A Believer Now, After Being Skeptical

I viewed Oprah's show and thought, "this just might be my ticket," having suffered with allergic rhinitis and sinusitis for several years. I refrained from taking the prescribed pills due to their side effects. The nasal sprays were irritating and caused unreal headaches. My neice saw the same Oprah episode as well, and purchased her neti pot immediately. Aware of my history, she suggested that I do the same. In detail, she informed me of the process and her resulting relief. Yet, I procrasted on the purchase until last week. I was finally sick and tired of the continued congestion, nose-blowing, and nose chafing.
If only I knew of this years ago. It's great, no kidding! As a "newbie," it was messy at first. But, I now have the process streamlined and the difference has been overwhelming. Hey, now I can really smell the roses!

Thank you Oprah. I really don't like the show nor do I generally watch it, but the one day I happened to turn it on also happened to be the day that they were introducing the neti pot to her screaming fans as well as a time when I was suffering from my first sinus infection, a.k.a., the worst experience of my life. I went out and bought one right away and wouldn't you know that rinsing my sinuses had relieved enough pressure that I was able to function that evening (a serious issue before rinsing)?? I love this thing. Use it all the time and would recommend, and have been recommending, it to anyone. This particular pot only gets 4 stars b/c the tip is actually a little large for my nostrils, and one of them (my fiancee has one too) has already cracked. But hey, it might fit you fine and I just might not be careful enough w/ my ceramics. This is also the only pot I've used so I don't have a fair comparison of the other pots. Happy shopping, and seriously, try one of these things out!Product Review: Easy to use, works great

I've had sinus difficulties my whole life, mainly due to a deviated septum. In the past I've tried all sorts of medications, steam, saline spray and nothing provided more than a 5 minute relief. So I figured I had nothing to lose with trying the neti pot.
Let me tell you, this thing works! It doesn't solve every symptom, but I can feel a very significant difference when I use it. Usually, I need it just once a day but on occasion I'll use it twice.
For those of you who haven't used a neti pot, I know it looks difficult or at least strange. After a couple of days, you'll figure out the exact way to use it and from there it becomes second nature.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone suffering from sinus problems or allergies.

I bought this because I was pregnant and thought it would be a good way of clearing my stuffy nose, since I can't take antihistamines. My husband and I have both used it and think it definitely works. It does take a while to get the right technique, but I felt better after using it and will use it in the future!
