I got this Sun Touch Plus light for myself as a holiday gift because I live in the North East and winter is such a drrraaaagggggg. It is AMAZING!!! I feel cheerier and happier due to this lamp and winter doesnt bum me out nearly as much. I set up a little reading area with incense and candles around it...complete with carribean music and coconut lotion. Helps a ton. I changed to the NatureBright after using another kind for the last few years. I have really felt the change in my life. Using it every morning on a regular schedule helps me wake up easier in the mornings. I don't feel so sluggish during the day now. I use it when I read the bible in the morning. I want to get on the treadmill so I'm going to fix it so I can walk and get my sunshine and listen to the bible from my computer. I have the one with the Ion therapy and I really like it too.Product Review: Finally...SAD relief!

I have been suffering from Seasonal Affected Disorder for as long as I can remember, even as a child. I live in Cleveland, Ohio, where depending on the winter, the cloudy days can last from November until March. It also gets dark early in the evening. This December is when my SAD started. Driving to work in the dark...driving home in the dark...and very little sun at the office because my boss insists on the blinds being closed ("Causes too much glare on the computer monitors") Meanwhile, I was sinking further and further into depression. Going to bed at 7:00, craving pecan pie...you know the drill. When this item arrived, I turned it on just to see what it was like, even though I didn't begin a session until the next morning. Sounds crazy, but just looking at the light made me feel better. I am oddly drawn to it, and actually look forward to waking up to use it. No, I am not dressing it up and calling it "Shirley" or anything. (thinking of the movie "Castaway" and Wilson the Soccer ball) As you can see, my sense of humor has returned which is another testament to the affects of this lamp. The ion smell is very faint and doesn't bother me at all. In fact, like another reviewer said, its kind of like the air after a rainstorm. I use it 30 min every morning while drinking my coffee. I can tell you I am waking up more energized, and staying up later at night. I am less sluggish during the day. I also feel happier. Has only been a few days, but I would highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from this affliction.Product Review: Flawless

I ordered this on advice from my Doctor. It arrived quickly with regular shipping. When i opened the box and removed the unit i could tell right away it was of very quality construction and built very solid. I started using the light the next morning and within a week i was sleeping and waking on a regular schedule, without the alarm clock. I do feel i have more energy, but for other medical reasons i still suffer from fatigue. I awaken each morning looking forward to using this product. It works so well i quit all caffeine, and i loved my morning coffee, now i just don't need it.
