Product Review: Curious and now happy

I had looked into these types of lights for light therapy several times, as, I am not a morning person and in the winter it is even worse. During the winter, I feel lethargic and just want to sit or sleep. So, having heard about light therapy for Seasonal Affective Disorder, I was curious.
After even more research, I asked my children for this specific light for Christmas. I started using it Christmas morning. Within a few days I really noticed a difference. I would find myself smiling for no reason at all and I had more energy.
I have been using the light daily for 2 months now. During the week I put is on my desk at the office and have it on between 2 and 3 hours, because it sits a couple of feet away from me. On the weekends, I sit on the couch, checking email and watching the news, with the light on the coffee table just about 1 - 1 1/2 feet from me for about an hour. I look directly into the light only occasionally.
Having said that, I am still not a morning person, it is difficult for me to wake up, but not as difficult as it was before. My kids say it is all in my head, and I say, that's fine, it works for me!
I highly recommend this light for people that get the winter blues!

The NatureBright SunTouch Plus Light and Ion Therapy Lamp was a great purchase. I wake up early and the winter months can be tough. I use the light while I get ready in the morning. I don't sit directly in front of the thing as recommended, but move around a small room with the light on for about 30 minutes. It seems to work just fine in lightening my spirits. The first one I ordered wouldn't turn on at all. I returned it for a free replacement, per Amazon's return policy. That one worked for two 30-minute sessions, and then I encountered the same problem - it wouldn't turn on at all. Either this company makes defective products or I've just been unlucky, but because of my experience I would not recommend this lightbox at all.Product Review: Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrone

After having to do chronotherapy 7 times over a two year period for this debilitating sleep condition, a sleep doctor recommended bright light therapy. So far, after about 10 weeks of use, it has worked very well for me.
A very good value considering many others priced in the high $200s the past several years.

This lamp meets my needs and more - I purchased it on a doctor's recommendation and it is easy to use and puts off just the right amount of light. I use it a half hour in the morning and evening and do feel that it replicates natural sunlight. A great lamp for winter use.
