The change in the weather means pollen all over the place means people are more susceptible to getting sick and it signals allergy and sinus season.
That said, I battled a nasty sinus infection/cold since the beginning of the month! Had to fly to the west coast, which made it worse! I went to the doctor, who prescribed some antibiotics, allergy and sinus meds.
The worked for a while (helped to lower my fever and overall feeling of malaise). Well, they did nothinn to get rid of the hacking cough I had. I took cough medicines that included guaifenesin as high as 1200mg) and all those meds did were make me hack cough most of the night! It doesn't helpt that I have bronchitis so it's a b"""h when I catch a cold or any other upper respiratory disorder b/c of the residual hacking, unproductive cough.
Well, enter Umcka! This stuff is great! It has been a godsend, let me tell you! I take 3 tsp of this 3.4 times daily and 4 tsp right before bedtime! For the past two nights, I have had restful nights and no getting up in the middle of the night to cough my lungs out! I feel like I can breath clearer and there is no heave feeling in my chest! I thought I was going to have to go back to my inhaler, but not with this stuff! It helps to produce a productive cough that's needed to clear the phlegm from your systemm, the natural wya and doesn't make you feel jittery, dizzy, or sleepy! I highly recommend this medicine for anyone looking to get rid of an annoying cough and to feel better after a cold!
