I found it to be ineffective for both my husband and myself. Other B12 I have used work far superior to this one. I was very disappointed.Product Review: Works, but tastes pretty bad!

I seem to get an energy boost from it; more of just a better sense of well being. It doesn't taste pleasant, however. You can't really taste it while it's under the tongue though, just when you finally do swallow it. I follow it with a nice gulp of water.
It can be a bit messy and it will stain so be careful.

The flavor is cherry, which I despise. But on the plus side, it's a natural flavoring and I find that I don't taste it while it's under my tongue and that the flavor washes away quickly with no aftertaste if I drink some water after swallowing the stuff. I gave two of my four bottles to a friend who likes cherry, and she says the cherry flavor is good.
Does it help with energy? I can't tell. Maybe. I tend to use it when I'm very, very tired; I might get more benefit if I weren't starting from such a low energy position. I like knowing that I'm getting some extra vitamins, at least.

i got mine at CVS. The taste is fine, slightly sweet, tiny bit of a strange aftertaste but really not bad at all. I noticed that i seem to perk up after taking this. I will continue to use :)
Oh and the previous reviewer is right about the iodine color, and my bottle seems to drip pretty fast. I invert the dropper (turn it upright) to avoid this. It's really the only way not to make a mess. I have forgotten to do this a few times & dripped on myself. Fortunately i was sitting at my computer desk & got it on the keyboard one day, and i had on dark brown pants the other time. phew! So anyway, use caution!
