I just used the buy-one, get-one at half price deal at GNC, and so effectively ended up with two 3-pound containers for 50% more than I would have paid for the same quantity here! Plus, I could just buy one container from Amazon and still get the discount! Sorry GNC, but I'll be getting my protein supplements from Amazon. I still go back to you for some other products, unless I find them here too!
As to the product itself, Isopure provides the biggest protein punch with the least fat and calorie cost of any major product line out there, plus it mixes well with water. I use a shaker bottle, but frankly it mixes just as well in a glass with a spoon. The vitamin and mineral list is impressive. Basically it's like getting an extra half a multivitamin plus lots of other things your typical vitamin does not carry in every serving.
However, remember you only get the vitamins in the quantities/percentages listed on the label if you use the full 2-scoop, 50 gram serving. One scoop obviously gets you half. Some other proteins can be useful (egg, soy, casein) but whey is going to be the backbone of any athlete's (or wannabe like me) supplement list. This is the product you want. There are a couple other brands that taste a little better, but they are not worth the extra fat and calories in my opinion.

You can drink it with water or milk. When mixed with water, the taste is flat, but acceptable. When mixed with milk (I use fat free) it tastes like a milk shake! Mmmm... As far as the water taste is concerned, I have found this to be no worse than any other mix, save Muscle Milk. However, MM has much more fat, cals, and carbs.

Like everyone says, one of the best. Smooth, and very little clumping.
Bottom line:
If you are looking for a mix that has high protein, with a good taste, but lower carbs; this is the mix for you.

Isopure was my first protein drink. I have to say that the nutritional info is great: 50 grams protein? Check. Other vitamins and minerals? Check. Zero carbs? Check. Mixes easily?. Check. But the flavoring? Ick. It's to the point that I gag a little when I drink them. I tried both mango peach and strawberries and cream. Both tasted ok initially, and slowly got more disgusting with each sip. They taste like sweet and low puked in your mouth. I will buy the unflavored, and mix that into crystal lite, or oatmeal etc.
Good product, fruit flavors were not my cup of tea.
I would recommend pure protein chocolate shake, but it has a little less protein.

Did not like it. I guess I am sensitive to artifical sweetners because that's all I could taste in this product. Would not buy again, and as a result have become more diligent in label reading before buying!
