Product Reviews of Nature Babycare Chlorine-Free ECO Diapers Size 3 (16-28lbs) (Pack of 4)Product Review: leaked!! Summary: 1 Stars
These diapers were VERY disappointing. In 2 words: they LEAKED!! not good night diapers at all. I returned them and that takes alot for me. I did it out of principle as it seems wrong when one is paying premium pricing and trying to do something better for the earth and landfills and yet waking up next to their urine soaked baby. The company assured me that Amazon was shipping the newest version-if this is it then no thanks!
Product Review: love everything about these diapers Summary: 5 Stars
guilt free disposables!!especially with all the composting services popping up! diaper works great. very few blow outs. 3.5 month old baby sleeps all night no leaks! have tried so many others including cloth and these are the best overall!!!by far the best deal is to sign up with amazon mom and get a monthly order!!!
Product Review: love it- but runs very small! Summary: 4 Stars
this is a great diaper but beware-- it's very small. we bought size 2 12-18 lbs. My son is now 13 or 14 pounds and these no longer fit. Bummer!
I will order size 3 now for him.
Other than sizing I'm very satisfied.
Product Review: nice diaper, sizing could be better Summary: 3 Stars
Love the eco-friendly features of this diaper! I mostly use cloth, but do use disposables on occasion and prefer not to use the conventional kind. I have noticed as reported in other reviews that the outer "fabric" is prone to tearing, but it's not been a significant problem for me. Not enough of one to make me switch diapers.
The issue that makes me give this 4 stars rather than 5 is that I think the sizing could be better. My dd weighs 21 lbs. and fits easily into conventional size 3 diapers with room to grow. Even the eco-friendly diapers I had been using (Natural Choice) fit well with room to spare. But these size 3's just fit her exactly right now. They say they fit up to 28 lbs, but I can't see how, though they are bigger than the Seventh Gen size 3's. She had a bm in these yesterday and it nearly went up her back because of the low rise on them. I'm hoping to finish out the box I have before she outgrows them too much and will have to buy the size 4's (with fewer dipes in the box) if I decide to stay with this brand. I was hoping to get more time out of the size 3's though so if the Natural Choice become available again, then I'll probably switch back to them.
4/6/2011 Update
I'm editing my review now that we've used these a few weeks. I am changing my rating to 3 stars now because I don't really like the the absorbant layer. I didn't think it was supposed to be an absorbant gel, but when the diaper is really wet, I find little gel-like pellets on my daughter's skin just like you find with conventional disposables. I don't like that. I also find that I need to change her as soon as she pees or she gets a rash. I did not have either of these problems with the Natural Choice diapers so I really hope they are available here again before I need to replenish my supply.
Product Review: worst diaper I've used Summary: 1 Stars
I usually use cloth diapers or gdiapers but thought disposables would be a better option for out plane trip. Glad I tried them prior! They would be good diapers if the fit was better.
The velcro tabs on the diaper do not stick very well. When I lift my daughter the tabs get stuck to my shirt and don't restick well. There is also something off about the fit. When you close them in the front, the top part droops out no matter where I put the tabs. This causes some major over night leakage when it comes in contact with her pants waist band.
The diaper it's self is absorbent enough. It doesn't leak from the bottom and contains messes well. The outer cover is more of a paper feel then plastic. Not really soft or rough, just different. It doesn't 'feel' like it should work, but it does. You have to roll the diaper loose when you discard it because the velcro only sticks to the wings. These diapers do not get warm like pampers when wet and I haven't noticed any of the gel beads on her. Also haven't noticed a smell like other brands.
I believe the size runs like other big name brands. I usually have a bag of 7th generation on hand and these are about an inch wider and 2 inches higher, but I think it is the 7th that runs small.
Over all, I will not buy again. I wish I didn't buy a whole case!
