I have been using this for my first two months of breastfeeding and I have never had any chapping or cracking whatsoever. The worst I've had is some soreness when he was nursing a ton during a growth spurt and I didn't apply after every nurse, but when I did this was oh so soothing. I can feel good about the ingredients and not worry about what's going in my newborn's mouth.
