All-natural NaturOli Soap Nuts are great for those sensitive to the dyes, fragrances, and preservatives found in traditional detergents. This is especially true for those that live in hard-water areas (practically everywhere) where traces of detergent may be left behind on clothes. Although soap nuts will leave your clothes clean and smelling fresh, do not expect a great amount of suds because no chemical sudsing agents are added as in regular detergents. I find it more economical to make a concentrated soap nuts "solution" by boiling three or four soap nuts in a Mason jar full of water. The solution can be kept in a cool place, preferably the fridge, for several weeks and used like a regular detergent (1/2 cup per load). Please note: Extremely sensitive individuals may want to do a skin patch test before use, just to be safe, as there may be someone out there with an allergy to saponins.

Simple to use:
- Put 5-6 shells (1/2 oz) in wash bag.
- Toss directly in washer with laundry. Don't overstuff loads!
- Reuse 4 - 7 times.

Number of loads vary due to water temp, hardness, washer type, cycle selection, etc. Est. loads are based on 1/2 oz per medium sized loads. HE washers typically yield more loads. May use with traditional cleaning boosters as desired.
Tip: Start fresh! Run a couple warm or hot loads with rags or such to help purge washer of residual chemical buildup.
