Customer Review: Finally- a versatile, natural cleaning product that cleans!

I haven't been impressed with "green" cleaning products. I've tried a lot of different brands and different formulations (can you do laundry with dish soap? can you wash hands with laundry soap? how does it work on glass?) These products tend to contain a lot of chemical-ese and have limited application.
Not so with the liquid soap nuts. This is a highly concentrated soap nuts extract with a few other natural ingredients. I had never used soap nuts or any soap nuts product before.
I didn't like either the bottle or the pump; I put the liquid in a used saline bottle that is soft and squirts a very fine stream.
I've used the soap nuts liquid in my front-loader and it works very well. (I have always washed everything twice on delicate with warm water - saves wear and tear on the clothing). I haven't found a need to supplement. We don't have many stains, so I can't comment on that.
I use it for hand-washing dishes and it is extremely effective. (You just have to get over the need to see lots of suds.) No residue & degreases with ease.
What impressed me most was its power cleaning the both the shower and glass. We use Bronner's in the shower and end up with some pretty stubborn buildup on the tile. Usually it's been conquered by 50% natural cleaner and 50% elbow grease. (I don't use an abrasive in order to save the grout.) The soap nuts liquid took over about 80% of the job. My elbow is happy! As for glass, nothing I've ever used on glass has cleaned so well - no lie. Wipe with a damp rag and a drop of soap nuts, then dry with a cloth.
So now we use the soap nuts liquid for all household cleaning, from countertops to floors and beyond. What a relief to find this one fabulous product!
(We tried the soap nuts liquid on hands and hair and it's kind of detergent-y. Not pleasant. We're sticking with Bronner's liquid for cleaning living beings such as ourselves and the dog. We were not happy with Bronner's liquid for household cleaning, however, as it left a residue and required a lot of rinsing.)
