I was in a New Age (previously known as head) shop looking for some incense. Generally I'd burn some Gonesh sandalwood or jasmine, and they're good but I'd get tired of the same old stuff and have to go look for something new. Well, this shop had an unbelievable selection of incense. It was hard to shop because the smell was overwhelming. But I noticed something a little different in all that mix.
Finally I got to the Nag Champa, held it up to my nose, and was simply amazed. It's just so right. I couldn't believe how drawn I was to it. I tried picking up some of the other amazing selections, but there isn't any other. I knew it when I smelled it. Spicy, floral, earthy. Different but not obnoxious. In my house it means quiet time, and it sets the mood.
If you're on the fence about trying it, just buy a small package. You'll know right away. I haven't bought anything else since, and I've gone through a couple kilos. I never get tired of this. And when people come over, they don't say, "What's that smell?" like they do when I've burned other incense.
