I had many people try this out for pest control, mice, squirrels, etc. and it never worked at all even at full strength. Do not waste your money if you plan on using this for pest control. I gave this 3 stars because you can use this peppermint oil in ice cream and candy making.Product Review: Peppermint oil

Had a problem with a few mice, can't say 100 percent sure, but we no longer see or hear them since using this. I put the oil on cotton balls and placed them where I thought they might be. I purchased this item based on the number of good reviews it received. After I purchased it, I went on to read some of the reviews and one of them jumped out at me stating it was a "danger to cats". I went onto the ASPCA website and it is indeed dangerous to use peppermint oil around cats. The ASPCA recommends not using peppermint leaves or oil in areas where your cat is allowed access. This information should have been listed on the product information so cat owners could see this before purchasing the product.
