I bought this as a gift as my father in law has wanted a postage scale. The item page shows a power adapter but upon putting it together we found there is not one with it. The box clearly says that it doesn't come with one but that would have been helpful to know when I placed the order. I can't say how well it works as I now I have to go buy an adapter.
