I could not be happier with my purchase. I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy and well constructed this otosocpe was especially for it's inexpensive price. I am a [physician and have been using a very expensive brand since I graduated med school. The replacement bulbs on that otoscope cost me as much as this entire otoscope and I was sometimes replacing them 2 times in a year especially if the otoscope was ever dropped. I had decided this expense was getting ridiculous. I saw this otosocpe oin Amazon and emailed the medschoolsupply.com website to see how much the replacement bulbs were before I purchased. When they told me they were only $7 vs $35 for my old otoscope I decided I had to give this one a try. I could not be happier. It's light is just slightly less bright but the view of the tympanic membrane I get from this otosocpe is every bit as clear if not better than the one from the expensive brand I had been using. this one also comes with a glass lens insterad of acrylic plastic like my old model.
Bottom line you will not find a better bargain than this otoscope in my honest opinion as a physician who has been using otosocpes my entire 25 year career.

My toddler twins have been prone to ear infections. I purchase this otoscope set in hopes of checking their ears at home so I wasn't running to the doctor every week to check if the whining wasn't yet another ear infection. It is easy to use and the view within the ear is very clear. My pediatrician (who showed me how to use it) was also very impressed!Product Review: Great Product!
