Customer Review: A necessity for colds and coughs

I've used Mucinex ever since it became over-the-counter (OTC). Its intended use is for chest congestion. It loosens phlegm and allows your coughs to be more productive.
The reason I like it is that I don't tolerate decongestants well, so this at least thins out the mucus and relieves my sinus congestion. I have not been abe to find any other substitue. Plus, it works for 12-hours, which helps keep it in your system while symptoms persist.
There are a few other versions of the product containing cough suppressants and decongestants, but for me, this does the trick.
