Product Reviews of Mucinex 100 Immediate Extended Release Tablets (600mg)Product Review: Good product - but now less expensive in stores than online! Summary: 4 Stars
Had originally started buying this product online due to lower cost, but now it is several dollars higher that in stores for the 100 pill package.
Hope to see a more competitive price soon so I can buy more.
Product Review: Good product, but the price is ridiculous Summary: 4 Stars
This is a decent decongestant, and if you have high blood pressure it's probably the only one that will have the blessing of your doctor.
Be sure to shop for the best price. The price ranges from too high to complete rip-off. Stock up when possible and don't buy when the price is in the rip-off range.
Try to pay no more than $30 for 100 pills. Even that is too high!
Product Review: Great buy on Mucinex Extended Release tabs Summary: 5 Stars
This was a great price and received it in a timely manner. Also qualified for free shipping was also a plus.
Product Review: Great price!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is such a great price for 100 tablets. It really can't be beat. I have such terrible sinus problems and this really helps. I will re-order again and again.
Product Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
As previously stated by another RN this is a great med to fight sinus infections. I have been taking it for acute bronchitis and it really thins out the mucus secretions so they can be coughed up and out. That is in Expectorant form.
This 12 hour extended release bi-layer tablet really cuts down on the number of pills required during 24 hours. The price at Amazon includes free shipping with doorstep delivery that is so wonderful when you don't feel well.
I would like to add two words of advice when it comes to the acute bronchitis usage of this medication. 1. Be sure any OTC drugs do NOT include an antihistamine (such as Benedryl) because that will only defeat the purpose of the Mucinex by drying and thickening secretions so they are even MORE difficult to express up. 2. Always check with your physician when adding ANY type of new medication to your drug regime. Although Guaifenesin has been around for years a drug interaction is NOT pretty. Avoiding one is well worth the "time on hold" waiting for an office nurse to take your call.
Happy Breathing!
