I love Mr. Clean, but this mop pushes me to never want to buy from this company ever again.
My story: I purchased this mop on Monday, December 20. I actually tried to use it to wash my tile floor on Tuesday, December 21. I started in an area that just needed to be cleaned, not scrubbed.
Within the first few strokes and first few seconds, the head flew off. One of the screws flew under the stove and the other sheared off completely. The mop head itself developed a huge rip in it and was unusable.
I attempted to call the company, but it was after hours. I sent them an email, and the next day the email was answered by "Petra" who didn't even understand what product I was talking about AND didn't even acknowledge that it was a complaint instead of a suggestion. I was told to contact another business to further my discussion about this other product.
Great. Glad that Petra can read. I'm also glad that the company can stand behind its products.
I returned the product on Wednesday, December 22. Considering this mop was $5 more than other mops in the store, I'm glad I was able to return it.
