Customer Review: Better than most, but....

I was taking krill oil, because it is supposed to be better for you than fish oil, and it is a more renewable resource. But, being pregnant, it wasn't providing enough EPA and DHA, so I switched over to these. Upon further research though, the American Pregnancy Association recommends a minimum of 220 mg EPA and 300 mg DHA a day. So, unless you take 2 or more of these per day (the dose of these is one per day) you won't be getting what the APA recommends for pregnant and nursing women. I found another supplement made by Metagenics that gives a more than ample amount of EPA and DHA and I am going to try those.
That said, these do not give me fish aftertaste like other fish oil I have tried. I take the pill before bed at night. The pill is also substantially smaller than other fish oil tabs I have taken. For those reasons, as I know large size and bad taste are hindrances to most people, I gave these 4 stars.
