Product Reviews of Mirror Go Round 4-way Mirror Compact AssemblyProduct Review: Nice, but power-hungry. Summary: 3 Stars
This is a decent little pop-up magnifier for the price. Just a word of warning, however. This little puppy eats batteries like there is no tomorrow. It was so hungry for battery power that I had to eventually give up on using its light feature. How such a tiny little light bulb could devour batteries so fast is beyond me, but it did! Also, the construction of the device is not real great, but for less than ten bucks, one can't expect much.
Product Review: Pop-up Magnifier Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this product for my father, who is a senior with poor vision. While I like the fact that this lighted magnifier is compact and provides adequate magnification, the pop-up mechanism is far from perfect. There are buttons on each side that must be pressed simultaneously for the magnifier to pop-up. Then you must press both of them again for it to pop-up a little more for the light to come on. I found that this mechanism often does not work very well if both buttons are not pressed at the same time. This is especially true, to turn the light on. My father has a very difficult time to get the light to come on and frankly does not use this product very often.
Product Review: They dont work... Summary: 2 Stars
I bought 3 of these. With all three of them, the lens pops out ok but the light will not come on. I tried fresh batteries and the lamp ohmed out ok. Once or twice I got a little twinkle out of one of them just as the lens popped out but that's all. Could still be good buy if all you care about is the magnifier and dont really need the light.
Product Review: we have 3 of these Summary: 5 Stars
we've had 3 of these for 2 years now. i've had to replace the batteries once...maybe twice in the most used unit. I guess if you use them to read a book they would go thru batteries pretty fast, but that's what glasses and good lighting are for. i use mine to check the fine print on coupons and advertizements, those silly little symbols on electronic devices, to look up numbers in the phone book and read the fine print on those tiny little instruction manuals you get with watches and cell phones and a hundred other things around the house. They're small enough to carry in pocket or purse for travel. No problem with the light. I keep one in the bedroom one in the kitchen and one in the living room and i'm here today to buy one for my purse for travel.
