The black plastic is hard and sharp and could easily injure eyes. It is probably great for meditation,and anyone who sleeps only on their back, but in my opinion too dangerous for anyone who does not.

This extremely comfortable face-mask will provide total darkness for sleeping or relaxing. The opaque black plastic shield covers a simple foam pad that conforms to your face while allowing air to circulate. Eye cutouts in the foam pad allow you to open your eyes and keep your eye makeup intact.
