I've been having problems sleeping since going through menopause. I've had good luck using Tryptophan to sleep but sometimes have to also take Benadryl and Nyquil, which knock me out but leave me feeling groggy and hungover from it the next morning. Plus Tryptophan is pretty expensive. I'm a big believer in using natural supplements where possible rather than synthetic drugs so when a co-worker gave me a coupon for MidNite, I didn't hesitate to try it. I took one over the weekend in case it made me groggy so I wouldn't have to worry about side effects trying to get to work. It did help me sleep but I found it very hard to get going again the next morning. I felt "stoned" til noon at least. I am sensitive to substances, so last night I tried just taking a half a tablet, and it worked perfectly with no morning grogginess. Got to sleep and slept through the night and woke up feeling great, very relaxed and mellow. I also really like that I can take it w/o water, because the less water I drink at bedtime the longer I can sleep without waking up to go to the bathroom.Product Review: misleading

Midnite works well when I wake up during the night and have trouble falling asleep again.
The Vitamin Shoppe was very prompt with the order.
The problem,and thus the low rating, is that it is described as a 'pack of 2' and the per tablet cost / discount reflect a 60 tablet pack. I ordered 2 - and should have been sent 2 packs of 2 - but was only sent 2 boxes of 30 each and charged full price for both.
