I purchased this product a month ago and have been more than pleased with it. I have a bad neck and shoulder area and the fact that this pillow holds head for over 30 minutes is a god-send. I haven't chilled it yet, but would anticipate the same great "holding" time. This item is terrific. It holds heat (or cold!) long enough to help, but not too long, which means you can't hurt yourself with it. The flax seed is supportive without being constrictive, and it smells nice too. I have frequent trouble with my neck and shoulders, and the Neck Pillow is my first line of defense.Product Review: flaxy hot

These flax pillows are great. We now own two (had to get the second so we each had one). The first one is several years old and still works great after a lot of use. Not only are they super for taming stiff neck and shoulders (my massage therapist reccommended a moist heating pad in the first place and that's how we ended up with the flax pillow) but they are also great for pre heating the bed (warm flax can be more soporific than a sleeping pill on a c-c-c-cold night)and for taking the chill off of the feet (in the bed). We like the nutty flaxy smell too.Product Review: it's awesome

the perfect neck pillow; filled with the right amount of flax to create a neck pillow with plenty of weight for resting on tight neck muscles; I love it heated in the microwave; I use it nightly and wake in the morning with less tightness in my neck.
