I bought this to help monitor my bp at home after my doc suggested self-monitoring (I was getting high readings in the office). This monitor is extremely easy to use - it comes with two cuffs (one regular, one large), batteries, a carrying pouch and an adapter to plug into the wall if you don't want to use batteries. The two cuffs are marked so it is very easy to tell if you have the right size cuff on. You put your arm in the cuff and there are lines that tell you "use larger cuff" if the cuff index does not wrap all the way around or "OK" if it is in the right place.
The readings have been consistent and accurate - the machine holds a large memory and gives you an average of all your readings. The only thing I would like is if the machine had a way to erase one memory reading at a time instead of having to clear the entire database. I only say this because my fiance used it a few times and I used it, too - I forgot who's reading was who's and it threw the average off. I would recommend using the little pamphlet in the bag to write down and track your numbers in case you share it :)
Overall - this was a great price for the quality of this machine. I bought it when it was on special on Amazon at an unbeatable price. I would have to say it is worth it at the regular price, too! It is so easy to use - I think anybody could figure it out. There are not a lot of buttons- just on/off, the memory and if you want to set a time and date. Nothing fancy!!! I'm glad I bought this bp monitor.
Product Review: Inaccurate readings and terrible customer service

I bought this monitor because of the high ratings it received on Amazon. When I tried it the readings seemed high so I took it in to my physician and had it checked out several times. Each time it was 10+ points higher than the reading on my doctor's machine, and as you know that could mean the difference in taking medication for HBP or not. I called Microlife and they just said that's the way they're made and I they said I couldn't return or exchange it for an accurate machine. I would recommend NOT buying this monitor.Product Review: Medical

I bought this product for my husband who is going thru an EMT course. His instrutor said it was a good product and would recommend it. He "practices" my and my Mum's blood pressure every night and it is consitant.Product Review: Works as expected

Like the 2 different size cuffs enclosed and the ease of use. The Dr. says it is as accurate as his office monitor
