I can't top G Ferrandi's earlier review, but just want to add my two cents that this has got to be the most ridiculous excuse for a bath pillow I have ever experienced. It is clear this product was NEVER tested in the lab - or the tub. It absorbs it's weight in water ten times over. And it it fantastic at holding onto that water at length. I used it for the first time over two weeks ago and it is STILL too heavy to stick back to the wall. I'm sure there are some other, excellent applications for a material this absorbent that is so effective at 'not drying out - ever'. It would work really well for floral arrangements for example.
P.S. - By the way, I bought this item from Brookstone - shame on you Brookstone for not posting the review I submitted to your website. So I'm posting it here.

WOW, I can't believe they can get away with selling this as a bath pillow! It weighs 50 lbs after a bath and takes 5 strenuous minutes of squeezing to get a small portion of the water out. $30 for this bed pillow that they advertise as a bath pillow is a gigantic rip-off. They not only owe all of us our money back, but an apology as well. It has been waterlogged since I first used it, it has never dried out, even though I live in Nevada. It shouldn't be long until it stinks and I have to pitch it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!Product Review: Do Not Buy

As stated by others - This sponge soaks up a lot of water, weighs a ton when wet and the suction cups won't hold it up out of the water. It is impossible to squeeze out, takes days to dry.

I was so excited when I had ordered this and couldn't wait for it to come in so I could use it!
However, after the first use, I was disappointed. It is very comfortable, if you don't get it wet. If it gets wet, it stays wet for DAYS! It absorbed 3 times its weight in water and even after squeezing it (which tore the memory foam) as much as I could to get all the water out, it still took at least 2 days to dry out completely so I could put the cover back on. I was afraid to leave it on because I didn't want it to mold. I also gave up trying to use the suction cups. The foam was too heavy when it was wet.
It is very hard to use and have it not get wet because then your water is only half full in your tub. I wouldn't recommend this product.
