Metamucil does the job. It keeps me regular. I have been taking 3 teaspoons in water every morning for the past 20 years and my bowel movements are what nature meant them to be. I never have to strain. This particular product has no taste so it is easy to drink. I tried the artificially sweetened versions and found that they had a too sweet taste and additional coloring and chemicals. Who needs that.
