If you're looking for basic lip balm because chapped lips aren't sexy to you, then this is it. It's smooth, refreshing and not gloppy. It has a slight menthol scent and not much flavor (this can be a good thing for some people), so this is what makes it basic. I've used Natural Ice Lip Protectant for many years. I have been unable to find this in local stores over the past year so I was thrilled to find it at Amazon.com! This lip protectant is very soothing and applies smoothly, not waxy like other products for chapped lips. The menthol flavor/scent is pleasant and the tube fits easily in my pocket. I carry it with me year round. I prefer this product over all other similar products.
