I got this unit about 4 weeks ago. I noticed a slight improvement after I week, but a great improvement after 3 weeks. I have stopped using it for one week as per instructions. I've had a chronic sciatica in the leg called a "piriformis syndrome",and i used this portable
ultra sound in crisis for a faster recovery but it can be used for any type of mucles, ligaments injuries.What it does is stimulate the cells to move the blood circulation which brings oxygene and nutrients to the injured area and removed the toxins.It takes about 10 days to get it from Canada but thet are very professional and you can call them to get infos about how to use it.
It's very easy to use but follow the instructions on the manuel about the time,intensity and how to use it for each area of the body.It works!
I had a problem with the transformer and they send it a new one free of charges.

I listed the reason I bought this product in my review of the Inferno Wrap:Knee Inferno Wrap, so I won't repeat that here (torn meniscus). As you can see in that review I was able to recover in 4 weeks and I used this product religiously three times a day as part of that recovery.
This product is interesting in that it makes no sound, you can't feel it working, etc. So I took the leap of faith and went with what the experts say about ultrasound for injury recovery. Was it the reason I was able to recover fast? I can't say other than the results.
The one improvement I would like to see in the product is that the LED lights and controls should be on the other side of the handle. When I was using it and working it over my knee, I would have it set on high for 10 mins. When the 10 mins is up the unit turns off and the lights go out. The problem is that you cannot see the lights when you are using it as they are on the "down" side of the handle and you can't see them. So I had to keep lifting the unit off my knee to see it if was still on (the 10 mins were up).
The cord was plenty long for how I needed to use it. The quality of material was fine.
Over the course of 4 weeks of using the product 3 times a day I went through 5 bottles of the gel. So I would recommend buying extra MendMeShop Lavender Infusion Ultrasound Gel 5 Pack.
