Product Reviews of MendMeShop Portable Ultrasound with multiple settings + 8 oz Bottle of Naturally Medicated Lavender Infusion Ultrasound GelProduct Review: Review from Physical Therapy student Summary: 5 Stars
As a third year Physical Therapy student from the U.S., I injured the meniscus in my knee while transferring a patient into a wheelchair. The pain was intense and the only relief I found was from the professional ultrasound unit in the clinic which cost more than [...]
I wanted to continue performing ultrasound treatments on my knee over winter break, but I no longer had access to the professional ultrasound unit. Reluctantly, I looked for cheaper options and found the home ultrasound unit sold by [...]
I am happy to report that I'm completely satisfied with the Mendmeshop home ultrasound unit. I receive the same pain relief from this unit which cost about 10 times less than the professional units. In addition to this, the customer service at Mendmeshop is outstanding. I expressed concern about shipping times to the salesperson and a manager called me back a few minutes later and offered several solutions...at no cost to me!
In summary, I highly recommend the Mendmeshop home ultrasound unit. I predict a day when Physical Therapists will lease out these units to their patients for home use, in order to supplement the ultrasound treatments performed in the clinic.
Product Review: So far, it has been great! Summary: 5 Stars
The shipping and product have been great. I got an email before I received the product and the customers service seems dead on. I seems to work well too, but my problem is that it really requires a lot of self maintenance to be religious about using the product. I have been using it on my shoulder and it takes dedication and work to use. However, that is not a product flaw. I am just used to having the person at my physical therapist's office do it for me.
Product Review: Supraspinatus Tendon Small Tear Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using this product in addiction to physical therapy for my supraspinatus tear. I am very happy with the results so far and I hope that my tendon gets back to the game soon (I'm a recreational experienced weight lifter)! I am on week 2 of the therapy and I virtually feel no pain (worth mentioning that I am really dedicating time to make the tendon to heal... physical therapy 3x a week and everyday use of the portable ultrasound 3x a day). My only complaint is that this device should make some sound after the treatment time is over instead of simply turning off.
Product Review: The device arrived on time and worked well Summary: 5 Stars
Actually I had ordered an ultrasound from another company before ordering this one. However, the company would ship the device 5 days after my ordering date. In other words, I would bear my shoulder pain for other 5 days or more. So I cancelled the order and placed the order in MendMeShop. The first reason is that MendMeShop ships the device at the first business day after my ordering date.
The device arrived on time and has worked well to reduce my pain. In addition, MendMeShop included an extra bottle of ultrasound gel for me at no extra cost. This is in addition to the free bottle that comes with the Ultrasound Kit plus the ones I purchased. I appreciate MendMeShop that understands people suffer from soft tissue injury.
I was happy with the MendMeShop's service and device.
Product Review: This really works! Summary: 5 Stars
I developed a severe tennis elbow over 20 years ago (not caused by tennis), that never went away. When I say severe, I mean not being able to lift things, even handshakes were painful. I could no longer straighten my arm.
I have been an avid tennis player in my youth. Work got in the way, but now that I'm retired, I wanted to start playing again. As soon as I started to hit some balls, the pain came back. Desperately looking for a solution, I discovered that with the right stretching techniques, building strength and using the ultrasound, gel, infra-red heat pads and the ice-pack, there was a chance of recovery. I started using the exercises and ordered the equipment, albeit fearful of "one of those" expensive duds. But I had nothing to loose.
After several days of relentlessly following the program of warming-up, stretching, ultrasound, heatpad, and all the while playing tennis (against a wall initially), the pain went away, and I could start to build the strength in my arm again. I used Ibroprofen to help manage the pain and inflammation, and the heat pack as soon as the arm was warm to the touch.
After 4 weeks, I was able to play matches, and now, after about 6 weeks, my arm is back at 90%. You cannot imagine what this has meant to me. This treatment really works.
It gets even better. While starting to play more and more aggressively, I strained some muscles in my legs. The same treatment got me up and running much, much faster, if I wouldn't have used it. Needless to say, I can really recommend the products, but don't forget to warm-up first, then stretch. Stretch and strength building exercises can be found on the internet.
