I've always had problems with razor burn, so I asked my barber how to reduce or eliminate it. She suggested switching to a single-bladed razor and shaving soap. I looked through Amazon, and found this brush. I haven't had a lot of experience with shaving brushes, so I'm not sure how it compares with other brushes. However, I think the bristles are nice, and it's convenient to have a stand for drying. My only complaint (personal preference) is that I'd like to have a longer handle.
