Very high quality design, materials, workmanship, and appearance. The extremely light weight is very helpful for moving and storing the chair, but may impair stability and durability in heavy outdoor use. This transport chair has worked well so far. It has only been a few weeks since I bought it. Therefore I can't give it 5 stars because reliability and maintenance ratings can't be ascertained in such a short period of time. Especially since I haven't used the chair very often. But based on my limited experience with the chair I am happy with it. One decorative plastic cap has come loose and has been lost. But this hasn't affected function at all.
The chair appears to be of sturdy construction. The operation is smooth. The chair is not heavy. Packing the chair in the trunk of my subcompact car has been no problem at all. The ride is a little rough for the passenger when you run over relatively minor bumps. So I take it slow on less than smooth surfaces. The chair maneuvers well around corners, through doorways and into elevators. The hand brakes could offer a little more stopping power on downward inclines.
My mother, for whom I bought the chair, is happy with it except for the somewhat stiff "suspension". Overall, we are both satisfied with the chair and would recommend it to others.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I am 84 years old and my husband weighs 190 pounds. I have no problem handling the chair and am able to very easily store it in the back of our car. We are able to go to so many more places now. It is even nicer than the picture shows. We had trouble handling the bulky, heavy wheelchair; this is just what we needed - a super lighweight transport chair for my Mother-in-Law in order to take her places, Dr appts, restaurants, etc. Passenger loves it and drivers are happy too. Received only one day after estimated delivery date - probably because of ice/snow storm back east. After much research, price was right too.
