Ordered this for my aunt who broke her kneecap and cannot bend her leg. This is a lifesaver! Extended width allows for her to sit and "scoot" over with ensured stability. This is a sturdy, nice-sized bath bench that you can sit down on before you get into the tub. A lot safer than the small ones that sit in the tub only. this is a great product .I received this product quickly, which as good because we needed it sooner than we thought. It has been a godsend since my wife had lower back surgery and had to limit the time that she was standing. the only thing is trying to figure out how to keep the water in the tub. It has an all aluminum frame and the plastic seating with the drain holes is very sturdy. it should last a very long time .
