I bought this for my toddler, and it's a well-made, solid product. I installed it on the tub wall in one minute, and I leaned on it to test it, and the bar doesn't budge or slip. We bought this to use when older relatives visited. We wanted to give them the security of a handrail while using the shower, but didn't want to change our custom tile in the bathroom. This is a very sturdy, well made product. It is easy to set up and to remove. Provides our visitors that extra feeling of safety. In fact, we will take it with us on car trips with older relatives to use in hotel rooms. Bought this item for my elderly mother. I was concerned with her ability to safely get into and out of the tub. The item was a very quick and easy install. No special tools or ability required. Instructions were straight forward and very simple.
She was easily able to maneuver in and out of the tub without assistance thus maintaining her modesty and dignity. An important part of having aging people around.
Super product for such a reasonable cost.

The Medline Bathtub Bar makes getting in and out of the tub safer for my 90 year old mother. Living 1,000 miles away I now rest easily at night knowing she is safe.
