I have been using this seat since I had foot surgery and cannot stand. It is fabulous! Decided to get gray so if an older person ever borrows it, they can see it better against a white tub, thus reducing the risk of missing the seat and falling.Product Review: Bath Stool

When I got home from being hospitalized I was too weak to stand and take a shower. The Medline Bath Bench was exactly what I needed. It is very sturdy and materials really nice. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend it.

This says it supports 250 pounds. I'm 225, and the legs were quickly bent out of shape, making the bench unusable. If you're about 170 pounds or less, it would probably be ok.Product Review: Collapsed in Shower

I purchased the bench for my wife after reading the reviews. After receiving it and setting it up it looked good and worked fine for over two months in the shower. Suddenly the legs on one side partially folded dumping my wife onto the floor of the shower. Fortunatly there were no injuries. Weight was not a problem. We are now looking at stools.
