I have this model without the LCD scree and timed mode. And it works fine.
I wanted another to use in my home studio while cutting vocal tracks, so I ordered this one,...
the unit arrives..
I follow the instructions but lets be honest pretty much anyhting is plug and play these days, ..but after filling it up i noticed it shot out steam for 5 minutes and then shut off...
At this point, i suspect somethign is up with the timer, so i reset the unit to continuous ON...this time th eunit stayed on for 8 minutes and shut off. Thats just alittle too sporratic to be a "setting"
I know something is wrong at this point.
I called Medisiana and they informed me it was infact defective.
I sent a eturn to amazon and asked for a replacement,..because hey, i really liked the Medisiana unit i already have..
a week later and i recieved the second unit..
SAME EXACT THING!! only this one after 2 tries wont even shoot out steam at all...
VERY DISSAPOINTED TO GET 2 IN A ROW THAT ARE DEFECTIVE.
i hate to do this, but this perticular model is a NO GO...
DO NOT BUY IT!
