The extra dorsiflexion achieved with this device gives a tremendous stretch to the posterior muscles and tendons of the the lower leg. Patients suffering from chronic tightness of the calves, achilles tendon and plantar fascitis will notice considerable improvement very quickly after using the ProStretch. Got this for my wife who had been using one on load from
the physical therapist as part of treatment for plantars
facieitis (sp?) - and was working well for her. She also
suggested I use it to stretch out before & after being out
on my bicycle (16 miles is a typical short ride for me);
this has cut down any feeling of pulling a calf muscle when
riding on windy days or longer distances. Well worth to have
one of these to help stretching out. Shipped quickly as
anything else I've ordered through amazon.

This really makes a difference. I was impressed with using it then forgot for a couple days and one morning woke up with the familiar 'ow' pain in my heel from the plantar faciitis... So started the stretching again and the next day wow... much better. Remembering to use it regularly makes a huge difference.
