Product Reviews of Medi-Dyne ProStretch Unilateral Stretching SystemProduct Review: Super effective for my heal spurs! Summary: 5 Stars
I love the stretch this gives me, but make sure you wear flexible shoes like tennis shoes when using, can hurt your bare feet and not recommended to be used without shoes... I only have one, but so far it makes stretching my foot really easy and I can feel the stretch- The booklet with this also gives lots of exercise suggestions!
Product Review: Take the PT routine home Summary: 5 Stars
My physical therapist has me using the Medi-Dyne ProStretch as part of my routine in the clinic. To some extent one can get the same results by placing the ball of one's foot on a step and putting your weight on that foot. In fact that was part of the routine I was to follow at home. I often experience foot pain in the ball of my foot when attempting this. The ProStretch accomplishes the same exercise goals but distributes the body's weight across the whole bottom of the foot and eliminates the pain I was experiencing while providing a better stretch than the "step" routine.
Product Review: The perfect calf and foot stretch Summary: 5 Stars
My PT recommended the use of this device for treatment of plantar fasciitis. After just one set of stretches, I can feel a huge difference in my chronically-tight calves, and my arch pain is diminished. I can already see how regular use can help with my condition!
The device also comes with a book illustrating other exercises that can be done, including strengthening the Achilles tendons and stretching the hamstrings, both of which I really need.
The device itself is very sturdy and well-made, much sturdier than it appears in the photo. I was worried that it might not be able to accommodate my short little feet, but it was not a problem at all. Highly recommended for anyone suffering from plantar fasciitis or chronically tight calves. Far superior to using a step or strap to try and get into those calf muscles.
Product Review: This does nothing for me Summary: 2 Stars
Purchased because I had a bout of achilles tendonitis. Very unstable little bugger and I feel that one has to have serious balance and lean against a wall to flex their bad foot and ankle. Not expensive so it will just collect dust. Did stretching excercise in the shower and for about 2 mins my foot felt great. Did this for 2 months and the achilles tendonitis went away. SO much for this little booger of an item.
Probably should try it sitting down? Not sure if that will have the same affect?
Product Review: Used in rehab, got it for home. Summary: 5 Stars
This simple piece of equipment makes stretching your legs easy as pie. Just stand on it one foot at a time and slowly lower the heel of your foot until you stretch the back of your leg. Hold for 30 seconds and switch to other foot. Repeat until both calves feel adequately stretched. No strain but plenty gain.
