This product has made a huge difference in keeping our mother safe from overdosing on her medications. She now takes her meds as scheduled and does not have to worry whether she missed some or not. The instruction sheets were writtten in clear and simple language. Regrettably for Canadian residents they cannot buy this product nor can they buy any other brand. Drug stores and health care outlets don't carry it and most concerning - they don't know such a device exists.
MAJOR SETBACK: PRODUCT COST. $150- $200 IS WAY TOO STEEP FOR MANY SENIORS ON A BUDGET.

Use this pill organizer box for complex medication regimens, for non-compliant patients or for forgetful persons. Each of these automated pill boxes holds up to 28 doses or pills or capsules. This automated medication organizer for early Alzheimer patients and others is a tamper proof 28 compartment monthly pill container organizer or 7 day pill organizer (4 doses daily). The medication reminder feature on this basic pill dispenser is an audible alarm. MedReady P1500 Basic Pill Dispenser Features: Large 1/2 in. L.E.D . : Time and alarm display. Audible alarm settings: 1- 4 per day. Alarm signal: alternates 5 seconds on, 1 second off . Stops when medication door is opened. Set alarm time interval for 3, 30, 45, 60 or 250 minutes. Alarm will continue to beep for that time interval until the medication door is opened or the alarm time is reached. Alarm sound: similar to microwave alarm. Alarm intensity: 90dB, 2800-3000 Hz.
