I used mine for my two boys. They are completely potty trained at night now-they were both potty trained for day before age 2 but it was hard for night time. First, yes it was hard on everyone for about three days since we had to wake up many times. Once the brain got the message, we were waking up less and soon they were potty trained(before 5 old). The product is recomended for 6 and older, but what 6 years old wants to wear diapers?-poor kids. No harm has been done to my 5 and 4 year old by using it, and they are very happy and feel like they are big boys. We continued to use the diapers but clipped the alarm on thick toilet paper until they were completely ready for underwears. This helped the alarm to go off immediately, there was no mess to clean up, and we didn't have to buy anything else. It worked great!!!Product Review: miraculous

i never rate products but felt compelled to rate this one. bought this for our now 7 year old daughter who was still wetting her bed. the first two weeks the alarm would go off and she would be unable to get to the bathroom in time, and she'd walk into our room soaking wet with the alarm's vibration mode going off. slowly she would be able to hold more pee in before she got to the bathroom, and now, after 3 weeks she's had 14 nights straight of dryness. we are now going to ween her off it completely. one thing, my daughter didn't like the ring tones so only uses the vibration mode, so i would have been fine with the basic model. highly recommended.Product Review: worth every penny!

This product is wonderful! I bought this for my 5 yr old daughter who was having trouble waking to go to the bathroom. Some nights she'd make it through dry and others not. I got real tired of buying pull ups.
Once ordered, it arrived very quickly. The first night she had an accident (i didn't have it clipped on right). We did start with underwear with it clipped on and then a pull up on top...she'd feel the wetness but it wouldn't be all over the bed. Second night it went off, she had gone just a little. Third night it went off, she had gone just a drop and still had a full bladder when she made it to the bathroom. From that point on she stayed dry. We did a week with the underwear and pull up-no accidents. Then we did a week without the pull up, just underwear and alarm-no accidents. Now we're doing one night with the alarm, one night without. Seems to be working! I was very excited when she got up in the middle of the night on her own to go to the bathroom without the alarm going off! What a breakthrough!! I couldn't be happier with this product and it's given my daughter something to be proud of. I really wished I had bought this sooner!! What are you waiting for, buy it?!!!

We read a lot of reviews before purchasing the alarm but of course, I was still doubtful about how well it would work. It has been 3 weeks and he is dry nearly every night!!! Bye, bye pull ups and stinky wet bedding!!!! On the odd night he is a wee bit damp but wakes up and goes to the washroom as the alarm wakes him up. I can't believe how quickly this problem is solved. We will carry on for several more weeks (as the product recommends) just to be sure he's got it.
Notes: I did have to pay duty on the unit- around $22. It came via the mail very quickly-less than a week. Do use the chart because it really helps you see how quickly it works. (Looking back in particular, because there are some lapses along the way) My son is just turned 6 and was excited about getting the alarm and really wanted to stop bed wetting. He did not like the alarm because he said it was too loud, however the first few nights we had to wake him up-we pointed out if he didn't pee-he didn't have to hear the alarm! Things improved a lot after the first week. This has been well worth the investment!
