My 6 yr old son has been using this alarm for 4 weeks now and it's helping him a lot. The alarm is very sensitive, once it was triggered by sweat, but after soaking sheets more than once every night he has had 8 completely dry nights and the others have been only damp spots in the underwear. It's loud enough to wake up a heavy sleeper and tough to shut off, so he has to get up. I was not sure how this product would work, I'd always been told to wait enuresis out, but I am so glad we tried the alarm. He is so proud of himself and really motivated to stay dry, which I struggled with before.Product Review: Worth every penny!

We purchased this for our 13yo son. We have tried many things to stop bedwetting: medicine, getting him up at night, restricting liquids, but nothing seemed to matter. He was very discouraged and so were we when we continued to hear he will grow out of it. It has only been 10 weeks since our purchase and he has been dry for at least one month. I slept next to his bed for the first week or so just to make sure he would hear it and respond. We even skipped using it a few days because he didn't want anyone else visiting with us to know about it. This was just what he needed to be dry. we've put in 4 weeks with this. our 5-yo son is not yet getting up on his own. the materials do say it can take up to 12 weeks. so far, it seems to be training him to hold it until morning, if anything. that's better than nothing i suppose.
i mostly wanted to comment on the design / price of the unit. the main module itself feels very strong and well built, but to be honest i still feel a little ripped off for paying almost $100 for this thing. technically, the design couldn't be simpler. moisture makes an electrical connection that activates the alarm. has to be a huge profit margin.
a fatal flaw is the jack that connects the sensor to the unit. it's a smaller version of a telephone plug, with the little tab that locks it in. on the first week, we broke off the tab. it's easy to do. the tab sticks out and easily gets hung up on things like bedding or clothing and snaps off. so a $0.05 plug ruins a $100 purchase. i just checked and the sensor replacement is $26 (including shipping). pfft. we'll probably continue to tape the cord in place.
that all being said, it's hard to put a price one having dry sheets in the morning. i might not be complaining about the price and broken plug if that was the case.

This is a great product! My 8-year old son had never had a dry night in his entire life. We tried waking him at night but it never worked. We are about 3 weeks into using the alarm and he is now dry 4-5 nights per week and keeps improving. It is amazing!
