Product Reviews of Maddak Deluxe Flexible Sock and Stocking AidProduct Review: Very helpful Summary: 4 Stars
I have ALS and putting on my socks became impossible until I got this. It took a little practice to figure out how to use it properly. It works very well. The only drawback is it is difficult for me to put the sock on initially.
Product Review: Wonderful item Summary: 5 Stars
This very inexpensive product is an ingenious idea! Accolades to the inventor! Recently I developed a sharp pain in my thigh if I lift my leg over the other knee to put a sock on. This amazing "gadget" allows you to put the sock on without lifting your leg at all...it's wonderful!
Product Review: Wonderful tool for maintaining independence Summary: 5 Stars
While I thought this tool looked really weird, i was tired of not being able to put on my sock or having to ask for help. I got this prior to hip replacement surgery and have continued to use it during the recouperative process. The terry outside keeps the sock in place when prepping to put it on. The inside material slides easily off the foot and the straps are plenty long. I have used it on ankle socks, long calf socks, and many more types of socks. I highly recommend.
Product Review: Works well Summary: 4 Stars
Terry-cloth surface does a good job of gripping the socks. One "finger" of the aid was carelessly stitched so I am hoping it will last for a while instead of coming apart.
Product Review: does a good job Summary: 4 Stars
This is the second one I have purchased in the past year. It does exactly what it claims, and has been a great help for me.
